Laurann Putnam has 20 years of experience in Occupational Therapy specializing in upper extremity injuries and ergonomics. She graduated with honors from San Jose State University in Science and Occupational Therapy in 1998. Laurann performed additional Clinical Internships at John Muir Medical Hand Therapy in Walnut Creek beyond the minimum standards required by the ACOTE to obtain excellent experience in the field of hand therapy. Laurann began her professional career studying biomechanics with a research team of doctors that measured strain on the body in a multitude of postures and devised healthier body mechanics in keyboard retraining. Upon proven studied data findings, Laurann consulted and taught courses in healthier ergonomics to Fortune 500 companies in the bay area in keyboard retraining.
 Laurann hosted and is a frequent guest on Dr. Peter Abaci's Radio show: Health Revolution (iHeartRadio) on topics such as Arthritis, Repetitive Stress Injuries, Bodybuilding, Sport related injuires and nutrition with other Physicians.
